You never thought you’d be the irritated, exhausted person who seems to lose their shit without knowing how to stop it.

You may find it hard to sleep without disturbance, and even small decisions feel like the end of the world. My clients just want some peace, they want to feel in control, and they’re sick of the frustration. Many of my clients come to me because they feel at a loss, they don’t know how to get out of the hole, and worse, they’re worried they’re in too deep.

Weekly therapy might be for you if:

✔️ You’ve experienced an overwhelming event like an assault, a loved one’s suicide, war, abuse in childhood, or a traumatic injury.

✔️ You describe your emotions as out of control

✔️ You struggle to trust yourself, those around you, or the world

✔️ Your sleep is not restful and you don’t easily relax

✔️ You push away emotions like sadness, guilt, or anger, fearing they will take over

✔️ Your relationships feel distant or unfulfilling

✔️ You’ve never tried therapy before or you’ve found it unhelpful

✔️ Past childhood or earlier memories are surfacing, negatively impacting how you show up as an adult

Trauma therapy is not:

  • You recount horrific times in your life and I nod along

  • Me telling you to “forgive and forget” and charging you money for it

  • You telling me your traumas until you’re exhausted and overwhelmed, session after session

  • Me giving you all the secret answers and !finally! everything is all better in a couple of easy sessions

  • You telling me the impact of the horrific times and I tell you to “look on the bright side” and “don’t think like that!”
