Grief & Trauma
Intensive Sessions

7+ hours of deep therapy to address difficult past and present experiences including grief and loss, trauma, and life transitions. Overcome your overwhelm quicker than weekly therapy.

Concentrated, effective therapy to accelerate and deepen your healing.

Imagine healing trauma, moving through grief, and building confidence all in one day.

With an intensive therapy session, we can do this.

What is an intensive?

A grief & trauma intensive is a powerful therapy to efficiently address overwhelming loss or traumatic experience. Using EMDR, Brainspotting, and/or psychedelic-assisted therapy (PAT), intensives are scheduled for 7 hours* total across 3 days. This significantly reduces the time commitment to weekly therapy by targeting specific material and accelerating results that stick with you.

Why choose an intensive?

The benefits of intensives include alleviation of PTSD symptoms like disturbed sleep, terror, and anxiety, increasing your tolerance for daily stress, and loosening the grip of your negative self-talk. Many clients I work with feel more connected to their lives and loved ones after an intensive. Intensives offer clients a profound way to reach places that weekly talk therapy just can’t touch.

Intensives might be for you if you have:

  • A tendency to ignore or push away your feelings until you have the “right” moment (…sorry, there’s never a “right” time!)

  • Tried therapy with little or no real improvement

  • Limited and valuable time, like busy professionals

  • Significant memories that upset you in the present (child abuse, car accident, loved one’s suicide, assault, affair/divorce, traumatic pregnancy/loss, childhood events that impede your parenting)

  • No room for another weekly commitment

Grief & Trauma Intensive Process

During a grief & trauma intensive, client and therapist work together for an extended period of time to allow deep and fast processing, expansion, and closure. At the end of an intensive, your grief and trauma should be integrated so that your soul can take the lead. Old conditions and fears held by your brain and body will be loosened, making way for more intentional patterns.

During an intensive, you can expect:

  • Multiple rounds of EMDR using various bilateral stimulation

  • Guided resourcing that helps you feel grounded, comfortable, and held

  • Breaks with opportunity for movement, stillness, stretching, food, and water

  • The use of coloring, dancing, movement, humming, music-making, and other modes of expression

  • Some discomfort and stretching to aide in growth

After an intensive, you might expect:

  • Your brain and body to continue processing the material

  • Weird or vivid dreams

  • A sense of exhaustion and like you should be alone for a little bit

  • A feeling of releasing stuck energy

  • More spiritual curiosity or exploration

  • A desire to continue your journey, leading to healthier consumption (food, sun, nature, drink, social media, news etc.)
